The European Scientific Counsel of Companion Animal Parasites (ESCCAP) recommends regular faecal examinations as part of responsible parasite control.
In general, this includes:
Faecal testing up to four times during the first year of life
Twice-yearly testing in adult animals
Use of targeted treatment protocols, where indicated
These recommendations support animal health, responsible antiparasitic use, and public health protection.
